Homeopathy Study Groups meeting monthly to learn how to use homeopathy for self-care
Services disponibles en Français.
Juliana Barnard received extensive training at The School for Higher Studies in Classical Homeopathy (L’Ecole des Hautes
Etudes en Homeopathie Uniciste) in Montreal, completing a four-year program and internship adhering to requirements established by
the Quebec professional homeopaths’ association, the Syndicat professionnel des homeopathes du Quebec (SPHQ).
A graduate of Stanford University in the United States, she has lived and worked in Central America and Mexico, where she first
encountered homeopathy.
Juliana served for four years as a member of the Executive Board of the SPHQ. She also translated The Spirit of Homeopathic Medicines, a
book about key mental features of remedies by the renowned French pediatrician and homeopath, Dr. Didier Grandgeorge.
After completing her studies and practicing homeopathy in Montreal, Juliana moved to Truro with her husband and young daughter. She
began practicing homeopathy in her new hometown in 2004, and has established a number of Homeopathy Study Groups, in which participants
learn how to use a homeopathic home-care kit effectively for everyday ailments and injuries.
Juliana has been a registered member of the Maritime Society of Homeopaths since 2004, and an active member of the SPHQ since 2000. She
was elected in 2006 to the national board of the Canadian Society of Homeopaths, a new organisation formed to promote
homeopathy across Canada.
“Finding homeopathy was a turning point in my life. Since first using homeopathy as a patient in 1985, I marveled then and continue to
marvel now at the profound and gentle healing it engenders. I am grateful to now be able to offer my services as a homeopath to other
people in search of a method of health care that takes into account the whole person, and that works with the natural healing abilities
of body and mind.”
