Classical Homeopathy
Psychotherapy

Before beginning my study of psychotherapy and homeopathy, I lived in Denmark for 18 years. During that time I received an M.L.S. from The Royal College of Librarianship, Copenhagen and worked in the field for several years. I then went on to study psychology. After completing my M.A. in Contemplative Psychotherapy and working as a therapist for many years, my curiosity about how the mind and body are interrelated led me to homeopathy. I discovered its powerful approach to healing through personal experience and began my formal study in 1994. I received my diploma from The School of Homeopathy in Devon, England in 1999, and have been in private practice since then in Halifax, N.S., where I have resided with my family since 1989. I continue to deepen my skills by attending regular postgraduate seminars with many contemporary masters of homeopathy, including Rajan Sankaran and Jayesh Shah of the Bombay School, as well as Jan Scholten and Massimo Mangialavori.

I am a founding member of the Maritime Society of Homeopaths as well as a registered member of the Canadian Society of Homeopaths.
In my practice as a classical homeopath, I focus on uncovering the patterns rooted in the mental and emotional level as well as how these are expressed in the physical symptoms of a patient. Through progressing inward, I explore the fixed perceptions and sensations that express the imbalanced state of illness. This leads to a homeopathic remedy that expresses the same pattern of imbalance.

I have found success in helping people heal more deeply from chronic ailments that otherwise have only been palliated by conventional drugs. My experience spans people of all ages, including many children, and also spans varying degrees of severity of illnesses.
